Operation Gratitude is a large non-profit organization that seeks to support our First Responders and Military by suppling simple care packages that reflect a spirit of community support and gratitude. Operation Gratitude is hosting an “Assembly Day” for those care packages on Saturday June 1st from 10am-2pm at the B & O Railroad Museum.  They are gathering a large group of community volunteers to assemble several thousand small care packages to be distributed to Baltimore City and Baltimore County Police and Fire Departments the week of June 3rd– June 7th.  They are hoping to assemble volunteers from local communities for this Assembly Day. The organization is hopeful that numerous first responders will also be on hand in an effort to further support positive community relations with local first responders.  I have included several links about the organization and the required link to sign up as a volunteer for the event.  This event is an excellent service based opportunity for faith based groups, civic organizations, youth sports teams, and corporate organizations, to show community gratitude and support for local first responders.
