Campus Hills Canopy Shade Tree Program

Why plant trees?  Trees create healthier and more attractive neighborhoods.  They increase property values, cool our homes, reduce street noise, clean the air, filter and absorb rainwater runoff, and improve the health of our streams and Chesapeake Bay.

Want to join the Campus Hills tree planting program? Blue Water Baltimore (BWB), Green Towson Alliance and your tree steward will help you select a species and location. Copay of $75 per ¾” caliper 4-6’ tall tree in your yard includes installation (planting, staking and mulch.) Copay of $150 per 1-1.5” caliper 6-8’ tall street tree includes a homeowner installed root barrier & tree installation.
