The Mission and Structure of the Campus Hills Community Association (CHCA)
For over 65 years, the Campus Hills Community Association (CHCA) has been dedicated to promoting the health, safety, and welfare of the Campus Hills community. In addition to these objectives, CHCA actively fosters opportunities for neighbors to build relationships with one another, strengthening the social fabric of the area.
One significant point to note is that CHCA is an all-volunteer community association, not a homeowners’ association (HOA). The officers and board members are residents of the neighborhood, just like you, who are committed to making Campus Hills a great place to live.
Mission
CHCA has a clear mission that has guided its efforts for decades:
- Promote the health, safety, and welfare of the Campus Hills community.
- Foster opportunities for neighbors to build relationships with one another.
Structure and Responsibilities
The community association is elected by the community to oversee the daily functions and financial responsibilities of the Association. The Board is composed of neighborhood residents who volunteer their time to serve in these roles.
Key Responsibilities
- Overseeing daily operations of the Association.
- Managing financial responsibilities.
- Ensuring members’ compliance with the established covenants and by-laws.
Community Covenants and By-Laws
It is essential for members to familiarize themselves with the covenants and by-laws of the Association. These documents provide guidelines and rules that help maintain the quality and harmony of the community.
In summary, CHCA’s unwavering commitment to the community and its structured approach ensure that Campus Hills remains a wonderful place to live and grow. The Association’s dedication to fostering neighborly connections and maintaining high standards in the neighborhood is a testament to the spirit of volunteerism and community pride that defines Campus Hills.
